Dermasafe Stretch Mark Cream and Scar Removal Therapy

I have a lot of stretch marks and scars from c-sections and other surgeries.  I know that the stretch marks are a mark of my having my children.  But there are so many of them!  I really wanted to try this product to see if I noticed a difference.  I haven't really used it long enough to see a difference yet, since I've only been using it for a week.  But what I have noticed after using it for the last week is how soft my skin is!  My skin doesn't feel sticky, or oily, or like it can't breath.  I dislike using a lot of lotions and creams for that reason.  I am also using it on a spot of eczema that is bothering me.  It has made it less red and is slowly starting to go away.  I love that the first ingredient is aloe, and that it doesn't have a perfume smell to it.  I will keep using it and let you know if the stretch marks lessen.

Bison Gear Bungee Cord Assortment and Tarp Ties

This was one product I REALLY needed.  Our dog has been getting out of her pen for weeks now, even when I put a lock on her kennel door.  She can push on it and it will eventually just pop open.  I was so excited to try these to see if I could keep her contained for once.  The first thing I noticed when I got the package is that there were so many bungees.  My kids were all trying to claim one.  So many colors!  I tried a couple of different things on her pen.   First just one of the regular bungee cords down lower, and then one of the tarp ties on the top.  Both worked great!  She hasn't gotten out of her pen since I put them on there.  SO excited about it!

Flex Pro ES

As I have said before, I really struggle with pain a lot.  This is another product I wanted to try to see if it helped.  Flex Pro ES has BiovaFlex Eggshell Membrane, Flexuron Hyralauronic Acid, Zanthin Astaxanthin & Boswellia.  Boswellia is also known as frankincense.  I have tried this product for about 2 weeks now and I think it is helping.  I like that this one is a powder instead of an oil, so I don't have to burp up fishy taste for hours after.  I do think the higher dose in the Flex Pro MD of the astaxanthin and krill oil helps a little more. I might try taking one of each every day for a couple of weeks and see how I improve.

Magestic Pure Coconut Milk Body Scrub

This product is amazing.  It smells so coconut-y but doesn't leave an overpowering scent after I use it.  I used it in the shower.  It left my skin so soft and smooth.  The only downside is that it did leave the shower floor really slippery, so be careful!

Premium BBQ Grill Brush

I have needed a new BBQ brush for a while.  Our BBQ was shedding its bristles and after all the stories on the news that talk about people ingesting wires, I was worried one of my family would do the same.  When I saw an offer to test a new different style of BBQ brush, I decided to try it.  Unfortunately, the last few weeks we have had a LOT of rain.  And then we ran out of propane.  Now that we were back in business with a few sunny days this week, I decided to try it out on my grill.  I was impressed!  It cleaned a lot of the dried on gunk.  Our BBQ is old, so the grill isn't that great, but I still was impressed.  Here are some pictures after I used it.

Turmeric Complex w/ Bioperine

I have tried turmeric so many different ways.  The best way I have found up until now is to use turmeric from the spice section and put it in my own gelatin capsule.  I have tried compressed turmeric and found that it didn't work nearly as well for me.  So, when I was given the opportunity to try Turmeric Complex w/ Bioperine from Elite Choice Nutrition, I decided to give it a try.  Since I am a chronic pain sufferer, anything that helps to reduce inflammation is worth a try.  This product comes in capsules (yay!).  For the past week, I have been taking 3 pills a day.  I can tell a big difference in the amount of pain I have.  But the biggest bonus for me was this morning.  I have a really bad cold, and my throat hurts. My tonsils were about a centimeter from touching each other.  Within an hour of taking the turmeric, while my throat still hurts, my tonsils are way smaller.  YAY!  I don't know if the turmeric is what did it, but it seems like it is!  I will continue to take them.  I also love that they added Black Pepper extract (the BioPerine part), to help the turmeric be absorbed better.

FlexPro MD

Recently, I was given the opportunity to try FlexPro MD by Be Whole Integral Formulations.  This product is contains astaxanthin and krill oil , which has been shown to help joint pain.  I have chronic hip and knee pain, and normally, I take chondroitin and glucosamine to help me combat the pain.  But I ran out a couple of weeks ago, and haven't been able to reorder more yet.  When I saw the claim that this is supposed to help even more than glucosamine and chondroitin, I decided to give it a try.  I have tried astaxanthin before and knew it helped a little bit, so it wouldn't hurt me to try the combo.  The first thing I noticed is that the capsules had liquid in them.  I have a hard time processing gel caps, so having thinner walled capsules was good for me.  I have taken them for about a week now, and the first two weeks, they recommend taking 2 pills a day.  I'm noticing that my pain levels are slowly going down.  I will continue to use them and see if my pain levels continue on the downward trend.
